"I have never experienced such poor customer service.
I called regarding an increase in my insurance premium that occurred through no fault of my own. The increase was related to the Drive Safe & Save beacon that was supposedly sent to me but never arrived. When I realized I had not received it, I called and requested that another beacon be sent. I was told one would be sent immediately.
That second beacon also did not arrive for over a month. When it finally did arrive, it was inside an additional envelope from the USPS apologizing because the original envelope had been damaged and opened. This clearly shows that the delay and issue with receiving the beacon were not caused by me.
I attempted to explain this situation to both representatives I spoke with, but both repeatedly interrupted me and spoke over me. Instead of listening to the details, I was essentially told that the premium increase would not be changed and that the situation was my fault. The second representative I spoke with, Alona, even went so far as to refer to me as a “repeat offender,” stating that I had supposedly done this last year as well.
When I contacted customer service for assistance, the first representative was extremely unprofessional. Each time I attempted to explain the situation, I was interrupted and not allowed to finish. I was never given a fair opportunity to fully explain my concern, and the representative ultimately disconnected the call.
After calling back multiple times, I reached another representative. Rather than listening to the issue, she immediately began lecturing me about how “we’re not going to scream at each other,” even though I was simply trying to explain what had happened. Like the previous representative, she repeatedly interrupted me and would not allow me to finish a sentence.
The level of customer service I received was completely unacceptable. I called seeking help with a premium increase caused by circumstances outside of my control, yet I was treated with disrespect, spoken over, and denied the opportunity to explain the situation.
This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and deeply disappointing. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed, including the handling of the calls, the statements made by the representatives, and the circumstances surrounding the missing and delayed Drive Safe & Save beacon. I am also requesting that the premium increase be corrected, that a professional apology be provided by the representatives involved, and that the owner or manager of this branch contact me directly to discuss this matter, please."
